建築家のヒュミドール

news162The result of a group of Austrian architects who applied their creative force to the making of a cigar humidor.

The site’s text is only in German. But let me explain that it is written in a style one would expect from an art critic. In short, who could have imagined that a simple thing like a humidor can be verbally elevated to be an ultimate creative object? Anyway, there are a few very “artsy” photographs of said object. But not one of them really shows exactly what that humidor looks in its wholeness.

It might be a case of “form” over “function”. But then again, I might be wrong: if only one of the photographs would show the whole thing…

Price? Oh… in the world of art, things don’t come with a sticker price.
