スモーキングコレクション 2004
ファーストインプレシオン Day 2
More selected first impressions on new cigar brands indroduced in the Japanese market at the Smoking Collection 2004 trade show.
Don Diego Aniversario No. 3
This cigar line was released by Altadis to celebrate the 40th anniversary of this brand. The vitola available in Japan is the corona sized No. 3. A hand made product in the Dominican Republic, the Don Diego Aniversario No. 3 will surely satisfy a wide range of cigar smokers with its perfect construction and pleasing flavors. The body strength is amplified by an unique Peruvian tobacco filler which makes an excellent combination with standard Dominican and Nicaraguan tobacco. Full body, peppery taste. 1000 Yen. Importer: Akiyama
Black Perl Robusto Rojo
This cigar is from the new line made by the maker of the La Perla Habana brand. The Rojo offers a rich, peppery taste and also appeals to the eye with a nice colorado hue criollo wrapper. Medium body strength and a sweet note in the finish make for a good any-situation cigar experience. 1100 Yen. Importer: Lafayette
Black Pearl Conga
Don't let the gaudily designed band on this cigar fool you! This is a serious cigar. It is the latest addition to above mentioned Black Pearl line. Mild to medium-bodied strength with an unique claro hue Brazillian wrapper the blend is smooth until the very end. A delicate sweetish finish makes it hard to put this cigar down, and I smoked it right to the nub. Toro size, 1000 Yen. Importer: Lafayette
