FETCH

FETCH, the first ASCer-herf in Japan, was recently held in Tokyo. ASCers Tony Muller, on a family trip to Japan, and Les Smith, who works and lives in Gifu, joined me (Adrian Buehler, long-time ASC lurker) and a few local cigar smokers in Tokyo for a great day full of fun and cigars.

Here are a few photographs from the event, hope you enjoy them.

A great thank you goes out to Tony for contacting me and making a detour on his trip thus making the event possible; to Les for making a long trip on the crowded Japanese trains to Tokyo. But also a thanks to alt.smokers.cigars. Without the existence of this great newsgroup and its participants, events like FETCH would hardly be possible.

Tony and Les made it to Tokyo! Tony playing with a high-tech gadget at Akihabara, Tokyo's high-tech shopping district.
Tony, Les and me (Adrian) in the walk-in humidor at the Cigar Club. The well-stocked shelf was filled with Habanos cigars. Les and Tony with the owner of Nomura Tobacco Shop, Mr. Nomura.
Les and Tony herfing a Cohiba Robusto, gifted by Mr. Nomura. After the mini crawl it was time for the FETCH herf on the rooftop. (from left) Tony, Kazuko (my wife), Les and Mr. Fushimi
We all enjoyed a great time! Tony with: Cuban coffee, Cuban rum and a H. Upman Sir Winston.

All good things come to an end. Many thanks to all the participants. I hope to see you again soon!
