Which out-door game, well some might call it sport, can be played with cigar in mouth and a glass in one hand? Petanque (ペタンク) the French game of throwing steel balls towards a small target as close as possible, is the perfect choice. And as with many games where hand-eye coordination is all important, the more wine and cigars the higher up goes the level of play, ...or so it seems.

A few cigar aficionados gathered on sunny and warm Sunday afternoon to seriously try a hand at this game. As you can see from the photos, it was fun! Cigar smoking the relaxed way. Although I have never seen so many smokers chewing on their cigars; it must have been the pressure of making those perfect, game-deciding shots.
