The Japanese version of Cuba’s national rum and spearmint drink, the Mojito. At Daikanyama’s Tableaux Lounge, the Japonito is made with shiso, shiso liqueur and vodka instead. Supposedly goes well with a cigar.
Crush a few shiso leaves in a glass with liquid cane sugar and some fresh lime juice.
Add some shiso liqueur and fill the glass with vodka and crushed ice.
Garnish with a shiso leaf.
