The Cigar Investment
The Financial Times last week carried an article in which the concept of investing in cigars is introduced to its readers. An investment banker working in the City of London explains his strategy of making a killing in vintage Cuban cigars. Well, the strategy is nothing really extraordinary. It’s a good old “buy high and sell higher” method. As in any market, it works well as long as demand is strong, He also buys two boxes a time, one to invest in and one to smoke. But I suspect that it must be awfully hard to smoke your investment instruments. While we’re at it, anyone wanting to buy some put options on RyJ PP EL 2005?
